• What is Machine Learning? Understand the difference between supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms. What is a regression problem? What is a classification problem? Solve regression and classification problems using Linear models, Tree-based models, and ensemble models. Learn unsupervised learning algorithms like K-means and agglomerative clustering and their applications.
• Understand how to get an overview of the data using descriptive statistics and describe it, Probability basics, how to make inferences about a population with a given sample, using statistical distributions.
